Cold Day Inside

Today was one of those days, it was cold and miserable outside so we stayed in our jammies all day long and played. Yesterday we had Ward Conference (which was wonderful) so we had a pretty long day. We thought we would take it easy today. Austin was obviously home all day, and had quite the successful study day. They have a Respiratory exam on Friday so he will be studying hard all week. We are looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving in Cleveland so he has something to work towards and look forward to.
This is one of Austin's biggest pet peeves.... the kids taking the cushions off the couch. So when he attempted to walk out into the living room today to take a break, I had to warn him. Well, he turned around in his tracks and walked right back into the room. The kids played on the cushions all day. They took naps (unfortunately fake naps), and...
built towers, which as you can see Jaxon had a hard time sharing.
And of course, Payton will always pose for the picture.
We made a fun snack today, Oreo turkeys. Payton and I made them and Jaxon taste tested them.

It finally happened..........what a turkey!!! But I have to say, even though he broke a couple ornaments, it was pretty funny.

That tree is hilarious! Oh my heck, did you have to redecorate the whole thing? Those turkeys are darling, but another thing I am afraid I can't do...I would eat the whole entire bag of Oreos by myself! I can also see Austy just turning around going back to his study room after he saw the pillows off the couch...that would drive me berserk! What can I say, I'm a Finklea lol
