Naps=Late Night

Anytime we take a trip into town during the middle of the day, there is a good chance that Jaxon is going to fall asleep... actually probably 99.2% chance that he will fall asleep. Well today we made a trip into Jonesville, VA. And... Jaxon fell asleep. End result is this; bed time comes and goes 2 hours later he has the light on in his room and he is just sitting on his bed sucking his blanket. So, I brought him out to the living room with us. Jaxon hopped on the chair with daddy while they were watching "Dirt Bike Kid," and then I brought out a color book and crayons. He sat down on the floor for a good hour coloring with me by his side. I just watched and had a little bit of one on one time with little Jax. Austin joined us too, he said it was more interesting to hear what was coming out of Jaxon's mouth than his show right now. Which was true, he was talking up a storm and being very charming. Nothing like some late night, one on one time with Jaxon. He is learning his shapes.... he is very proud of himself for drawing a circle. I have included a circle that he drew tonight. What a smart little boy. It is fun watching him change, he is being so obedient lately, picking up toys and doing what we ask. We are proud of little Jaxon.
