Eventful Day Words!

Wow!!! Where do I begin! The kids and I had quite the eventful day today. We kept extremely busy, and had alot of fun! The day began a little later waking up around 7:45am. We left the house around 10am to take Austin to school. After dropping Austin off at school, we went to Middlesborro, to meet up with Sarah Jeppson to go Visiting Teaching. The lady that we went to visit today had quite the entertaining place with all of her goats, cats, some sort of loud bird called Gini, (it is a hen, and I don't know how to spell it) and all the falling walnuts, from the black walnut trees. We had a wonderful visit with her and it was great to learn, and see a few new things about this side of the country. We dropped Sarah Jeppson off at her car and when we parked Payton got really excited...."Mom, look, its grandpa's truck." Well what Payton had seen was the Dyno Nobel logo on a truck that was parked next to our car. She recognized the logo. There is a mine not to far from our house that is owned by Dyno. Its nice to occasionally see them driving by. Just a little reminder of home. On our way home we made a little stop to see our friends the Whitings. I also tried stopping by to see another friend Heather, but she was busy working and in the middle of some meetings. I did however have a nice little chat with her, and we are working up to having a nice weekend, hopefully seeing them a few times. After making it home, we unloaded the car, came inside.... and the house was a disaster. AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!. Payton immediately went to her room and shed her clothes and changed into a princess outfit, and then asked to play with the "Platatoe" translation = Playdoh!!!! So.... I told them no platatoe until the house was picked up. Jaxon had to clean up the living room, (I got a kick out of how he piled them all into the drawers) Payton had to clean up the bedroom (she is a pro), and I had to clean up the kitchen. So busy we all got with our chores and soon finished with great success and we were able to enjoy the rest of the day doing fun activities such as, Platatoe, making carmel apples, magic grow precious treasures, and eating fun snacks, and Jaxon got to pick a show. Of course...... Dora the Explorer!!! After Austin got home from school, the kids found umbrellas and asked to go outside, luckily it was raining a little bit. So they played outside for a bit and then lost interest quickly! Getting to bed was a bit of a struggle tonight for a couple reasons, 1 Jaxon had a nap in the car today!!!!2 Payton got hurt tonight playing with her daddy. She was pretty emotional, and .... she was trying to suck it for all it was worth. They ended up playing in their room for quite awhile before we noticed that they were not sleeping. We were out in the living room enjoying a bit of time with Ashton before he went to bed at 7:30pm. He is starting to get quite the little personality. What a cute little boy! He went down tonight with no problems. He was a tired little guy! Now, Payton and Jaxon on the other hand were still awake, and I finally went down the hall to find the light on. So.... we gave in.... and the got to watch a show. Show was a success, they stayed awake the entire time, had another snack, and....they are now officially in bed. We will probably pay for it tomorrow. OH WELL!!!! What can I say!!! So.... all in all, we had a great day! I love my babies!!! What a great day to spend the day!Oh And P.S. ..... I actually convinced Jaxon, to smile for the camera for once. YEAH!!!!!
