On August 7th, it was my sweet little girls 5th Birthday! We let Payton choose what she wanted to do all day, and what she wanted to do for dinner. She chose to stay home and play with play dough, and then she chose a Mexican Restuarant for dinner. It was a pretty relaxing day, and that is what she wanted to do. On August 8th, was the more exciting day! She was having a joint Birthday party with her little friend Kailyn. For the last three years we have done joint Birthday parties with these two little girlies, and I think this year topped them all. We had a huge turn out, and so much fun. We had a little BBQ with hot dogs, chips, watermelon, potatoe salad, and drinks. And to top it off, some pretty groovy birthday cake. Tamsyn made her daughter Kailyn a cake, and I made Payton hers. Seeing as how we were going with the Disney Princess theme, we carried it through to the cakes. Tamsyn made Ariel for Kailyn, and I made Cinderella for Payton. The cakes turned out great and were a total hit at the party! We had the swimming pools out, sidewalk chalk, water table and lots, and lots of kids. It was a blast, and we had the best company! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends over here! This was a very anticipated Birthday for Payton because she knew once she turned five, she would be able to start school.
Happy Birthday to my favorite Girl in the World!!!
I love you!
